In 2008 we took a motorcycle trip back east with our friends, Jim & Chris Eldridge, to Lake George New York and the Americade motorcycle rally. Americade is an all bike rally that is held every year in Lake George New York, that draws motorcycles from all over. On our trip we visited several states and got to see Niagara Falls.
Our journey started out riding to Pacific Missouri, a suburb of St Louis, where we spent our first night. From there we rode to Columbus Ohio and spent our 2nd night. We left Columbus and rode into Erie Pennsylvania, where we stopped and took in Lake Erie. We then rode to Batavia New York, east of Buffalo and stayed our 3rd night. From there we rode into Queensbury New York, just outside Lake George in the Adirondacks.
We stayed there for about 3 days to attend the rally, then while there we rode over into Vermont to look up some of their "Covered Bridges". We then left Lake George and rode back down to Albany, then up thru Connecticut, over to Boston Massachusetts, then to Portsmouth New Hampshire where we spent the night. From there we rode up to Kittery Maine where we turned around and then proceeded back to Utica New York where we spent the night, before heading into Buffalo New York and Niagara Falls the next day. We stayed in Niagara Falls for 2 nights. While in Niagara Falls we rode over into Ontario Canada for the day.
Upon leaving Niagara Falls the next morning in the rain we rode to Indianapolis Indiana where we spent the night, before riding all the way into Broken Arrow the next day.
We only had to ride in the rain for a few hours on the day we left Niagara Falls to come home, otherwise the weather was great. Sometimes a little chilly, sometimes a little hot. But mostly dry.
